Description

Key Responsibilities
Support make-or-buy trade-off studies for avionics units
Define subsystem or unit-level verification tests, ensuring verification coverage of avionics units and interfaces within avionics team
Ensure compatibility of electrical interfaces within the Avionics team
Support testing and troubleshooting of avionics units
Support System integration, test and non-conformance investigation and resolution
Support mission operation tasks and troubleshooting.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a Electrical Engineering or related field and 5 years experience
Solid knowledge of spacecraft avionics
Experience in requirements analysis and specification writing
Excellent communication skills
Business English at minimum

Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field
Experience with a variety of launchers or spacecraft mission types and architectures
Experience with spacecraft RF subsystems
Fair knowledge of other spacecraft disciplines and equipment
Proficient written and spoken Japanese
The position is based in Tokyo- Japan, with testing activities to be performed in our offices, and flexible work location and hours the rest of the time.
