Title: REACT DEVELOPERS X3

CX & AX Work stream Summary: the roles in this work stream will allow NGPOS to meet the UI/UX needs of the customer and the associate. The work stream is critical to applying Kroger’s UI/UX standards to NGPOS, including flow of transactions, screen and prompt visuals both in lane and on mobile devices in stores.
Term: long-term Contract (1-2 years)
Location: fully remote
Tech Stacks:
• Web Developer: typescript, JavaScript, React, & Redux,. HTML, CSS for styling. Hosted on Prem and cloud (azure) Early phases of the project it is hosted in cloud and then eventually ran on terminals.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
• Participates in period planning and creating iteration plans as well as objectives
• Develops and commits to team period objectives and goals
• Conducts research, design, prototyping and other exploration activities to support dev/prep phase
• Collaborates with the Kroger Product Manager to create and refine user stories and acceptance criteria
• Participates in design. Reviews design strategy with Consultant Technical Lead.
• Leverages paired programming to write code and automated acceptance test cases
• Works with the Kroger Product Manager to confirm that the code and acceptance tests reflect the desired functionality, writing the code
• Adheres to Kroger standards regarding code quality and uses design and coding best practices to build high-quality components and services
• Participates in code reviews.
• Follows defined branching strategies. Checks new code into the shared source code repository meeting branching guideline requirements.
• Collaborates with Consultants’ Quality Assurance on test case creation.
• Performs continuous improvement of the team’s process and themselves embracing coaching and mentoring from their Consultant Technical Lead
