Shift Operations Manager – Production – Kent £50,000 - £55,000 depending on experience
Our Kent based client is looking for an experienced Shift Operations Manager that has experience of working in a busy production environment. Production experience is essential.
This role will be all about leading from the front, ensuring the teams deliver an efficient and most effective operation.
Working on a four-on-four off shift pattern, you will have the business objectives in mind at all times and ensure the operation run smoothly at all times, contingency planning and problem solving along the way. You will be also supporting the health and safety and quality standards across the business.
Your duties will include:
- Ensuring the incoming product is unloaded, inspected and put away agreed to the correct timescale and in turn ensuring customer's orders are fulfilled on time;
- Lead the shift management team, setting expectations on a daily basis and being a point of contact on the production floor;
- Make sure all communication is clear across the business, ensuring all the right business heads are;
- Manage the rotas and shift pattern for all employees, as well as managing personnel issues for your direct reports;
- Promote the business standards to all staff.
