My client, a top 20 digital agency is looking for a Permanent Grails Developers to work within their growing team. I have several roles to fill at varying levels (Junior, Senior, Tech Lead).

The key requirements for this role are:
• A suitable candidate for the role would have the following Java-related Internet skills:
• 2-4 years of proven development experience working on IT projects of medium complexity. E.g. n-tier, mixed platform, possibly mixed development tools/languages
• 3-4 years proven experience of working in a Java Enterprise/Web environment
• Excellent working knowledge of Groovy & Grails development, Spring framework
• Excellent working knowledge of MySQL & SQL
• Excellent understanding of HTTP/S and other common protocols
• Proven experience of common development tools (e.g. Ant, Eclipse/Netbeans, SVN/GIT, Hudson)
• Good experience with Linux based systems and associated tools (e.g. RedHat, CentOS)
• Familiarity with Design Patterns and good knowledge of perhaps 3-4 patterns such as Singleton, DAO, MVC, Composite
• Familiarity of common development best practices (e.g. TDD, Agile)
Salary : Up to £60k + plus brilliant benefits
