Location:  Birmingham, England
Salary:  GBP50000 - GBP70000 per annum + Bonus 20%, Company Car


Ashley Kate HR are pleased to be partnering with a Manufacturing business who are seeking a HR Manager to take them through a period of transformation.

About you
You must be a proven HR generalist who can deliver across the full HR spectrum of HR on an operational and strategic level - you will be expected to consider the bigger picture and develop strategy for HR. You will have the influencing skills and gravitas to be able to challenge senior leaders on the role HR has to play in achieving profitability. You are likely to come from a blue collar environment and will have a strong understanding of labour management. You will be an creative and ambitious individual who is striving for continuous improvement – both from a business perspective and personally.

About the role
This is an exciting position for someone who enjoys working in an autonomous role within a large business with a UK wide remit. This is a generalist role and you would lead HR operations on a day-today basis, but equally important will be your ability to influence senior stakeholder and to develop/implement people strategy to drive the business forward and to be efficient/profitable: Organisational Design, attrition and retention, harmonisation of policies/processes will be key themes to address.

As the HR Manager you will:
·Provide a proactive HR service to the management team, including being involved in structural and strategic decision making
·To manage the HR team and to ensure that they are efficient and effective in the business across the HR remit: employee relations, communications, resourcing, people development, performance management and reward.
·To ensure that data quality is high, internal processes and procedures are standardised and effective and there is effective utilisation of HRIS
·To consult with employee representatives as required in order to effectively deliver change - on budget and to time
·To manage recruitment at all levels including senior recruitment.
·To manage the full range of employment lifecycle processes for all employment categories
·To review and implement compensation and reward proposals
·To support and implement performance management processes and practices underpinning organisational improvement

Salary and Benefits
·Salary is up to £70,000 per annum (FTE)
·20% bonus
·Company car or car allowance
