 Motion Graphics Designer - 20858
Location: Washington, District of Columbia
Salary: USD45 - USD45 per hour
A world leading financial institution is looking for a Motion Graphics Designer for an immediate contract position in Washington, D.C.
This individual will have the ability to read scripts and break the story down into individual graphics. They will develop excellent motion design and animation graphics within a social media content team.
Animation Designer Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize, plan, and design animated 2D and 3D visualizations, according to creative brief and/or project specifications
- Create the sequencing of the animation: tweaking objects, refining and adding extra sound effects along with recording video and editing in support of social media objectives
- Understand strategy and copy to inform quick turnaround animation requirements
- Prepare presentations with raw designs to team
- Incorporate images with background graphics and special effects
- Ensure synchronization of frames and audio
- Edit graphics and video
Animation Designer Responsibilities:
- Minimum three (3) years of proven experience as an animator and motion designer for social media content
- Knowledge of 2D/3D, stop motion and computer-generated animation
- Proficient in motion design software
- MUST have agency background
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in motion design, computer animation, 3D/graphic design or relevant field
- Proficient in After Effects, Motion, Adobe CS
- Familiarity with Final Cut Pro, Avid and Adobe Premiere
- Experience with Maya or Cinema 4D a plus
