Quality Control Co-ordinator (BBBH1663) Oxford, England

We are seeking a motivated Quality Control Co-ordinator to join our highly ambitious and rapidly growing Oxfordshire based client, the UK number one in power mobile accessories. This is a permanent and full time role for a salary of between £20 – 30K pa, dependant on experience.
The role will involve responsibility around everything concerning quality control, including:
• Managing and co-ordinating all quality activities - linking with external testing partners
• Managing all certification and test reports - liaising with Chinese suppliers
• Planning and managing of the Quality budget to achieve business objectives
• Creating technical recommendations for product improvements based on testing results
• Critical path management of new product launch sample testing and then regular batch testing
• Key point of contact for a set of retail accounts with regards to Quality questions
• Responsible for booking and approving the results of pre-shipment inspections at our factories
• On-site goods-in quality checking for every inbound consignment
• Monthly reporting on return reason codes, and corrective action plans
The ideal candidate will come with relevant experience of managing production and quality issues, a technical background and understanding of electrical products. Ideally you would also have experience of liaising with Chinese suppliers. We’ll be looking for candidates with excellent communication and inter-personal skills, a team player but also with the ability to work well independently. You should be very well organised, have great attention to detail and above all come with a super positive mindset - always ready for a challenge!
