An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic field based Promotions and Events Executive to join the Marketing Team of our successful, customer-centric, service led, financial services client based in Oxfordshire. On offer is a salary of £20 – 30K (dependent on experience) plus a company car or car allowance and benefits.

This role is field based working with a targeted set of 5-10 branches in an area to develop and execute local marketing activities and help drive sales, ensuring that every growth opportunity is exploited to the full. Initial focus will be on the West/South of London (e.g. Surrey area) but could occasionally also extend beyond the region into the rest of the UK.

Key tasks will entail:
 Driving local promotional activity, plan and execute and measure the performance of events and marketing activity in collaboration with senior managers and branch managers.
 Helping local and senior branch manager deliver local growth strategies.
 Driving the branch marketing plans and improving engagement with local people and businesses whilst promoting their range of products and exceptional services.
 Identifying local PR opportunities and helping to build and maintain local relationships.
 Ensuring planned activities are delivered on time, on budget and within FCA promotional guidelines.
 Monitoring and reporting on activities and provide relevant management information.

The ideal candidate for this role will be confident, outgoing, and highly motivated with a business minded and entrepreneurial attitude. You will have a proven track record of identifying opportunities and being able to take the initiative to see them through to completion, whilst influencing key stakeholders and others involved with your passion and ideas. You will need to have gained experience in a similar role, ideally with a marketing background and be able to demonstrate professionalism with a keen business sense in order to measure activities and the success of each campaign.

We are therefore looking for someone with relevant experience within promotions, events, marketing and business development and the ability to communicate, present, and write clearly and compellingly. You will be an excellent organizer and events manager, able to work autonomously as well as part of a team and a competent user of Microsoft office and social media (for marketing purposes). Some design software skills would be a bonus. You will also need to be happy to travel, with a clean driving license and the flexibility to work outside standard working hours when required at weekends (time off in lieu is provided).
