A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Digital Marketer to join the communications and marketing department of a leading Gloucestershire organisation. The role offers a salary of between £25 – 35K and will require a willingness to work away from home and outside normal working hours on occasions.

Principal responsibilities and functions include taking lead responsibility for the organisation’s digital channels and digital content which will include managing the workloads of some colleagues within the department; the production of engaging content and marketing materials as well as corporate public relations, always ensuring an outstanding customer experience; activities to increase participation and draw in new business whilst working closely with other departments and colleagues and keeping to agreed targets and deadlines.

We’ll be looking for someone who is able to use initiative with a ‘can do’ attitude, excellent attention to detail and outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well with individuals and groups within and outside the organisation plus the following skills and experience:
• Education to degree level or equivalent and ideally CIM qualified.
• Experience of account management within a customer facing organisation, preferably within education.
• Experience of leading a team delivering digital marketing and ability to plan and mobilise team members to deliver key events.
• Experience of working in a large complex organisation and ideally experience in managing complex digital projects with complex stakeholders and systems.
• Experience of working within marketing ideally within an education setting.
• Experience of working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Experience of developing a digital content strategy covering advertising, including SEO, PPC and paid-online campaigns; email marketing; social media and ability to contribute to its implementation.
• Ability to develop and deliver integrated marketing campaigns, demonstrating a high level creativity with excellent presentation skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, including sourcing, copywriting, editing and proof reading information.
• Ability to produce management reports to measure return on investment and value for money on all activity.
• Strong IT skills.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage projects to time and within budget as well as ensuring value for money solutions.
• Ability to prioritise and work with limited supervision
