Our highly successful client based in Gloucester is currently seeking a talented and competitive Internal Sales Representative.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with some experience in sales and marketing and will ideally want to develop a career in field sales in the fullness of time when trust has been developed through hard work and the ropes have been learned in Inside Sales.
The successful candidate for this will thrive in a sales environment and play a fundamental role in achieving our client’s ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making numerous calls per day, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales.
Daily duties will include working on an existing database to contact and discuss possible projects and expanding the database by researching and engaging potential prospects. This will involve following up enquiries, researching accounts and identifying key players, ensuring records are accurate and up to date and working with marketing to promote products and services.
We are seeking a bright individual for this with a gregarious personality who can work on their own initiative and respond to targets laid down by the Sales Director. You will have excellent communication skills and are able to demonstrate that you can work to KPI indicators with a demonstrable track record of regularly achieving and exceeding goals.
Ideally, you will have the following skills and attributes:
• Inside sales experience
• Experience of dealing directly with the customer in a sales capacity
• Determined and hard-working and be able to learn technical concepts
• Track record of over-achieving quota
• Strong phone presence and experience of making numerous calls per day
• Experience of working with CRM
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Strong listening and presentation skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively
