An exciting opportunity for an experienced IT & System Admin Manager to join our award-winning and highly creative Oxfordshire based client. Taking on the responsibility for the day-to-day running of the company’s IT infrastructure, system administration, hardware and software (primarily Apple Mac), telephony and network security, the successful candidate should be an expert and experienced IT all-rounder, technically savvy and able to communicate effectively across all departments and third party contacts.
The ideal candidate will be a confident and effective communicator with a positive mindset and flexible approach to working hours as well as the following proven specialist experience:
- System administration including the setup, configuration and monitoring of servers and expert knowledge of Linux and/or other Unix system administration and web based application deployments
- Microsoft Windows, Office 365, Exchange, Active Directory, SQL Server and Share Point
- Apple knowledge, of Apple Mac OS and iOS and ideally Apple servers
- Troubleshooting and technical problem solving skills
- Thorough understanding of networks, routing, switching and networking topology
- Security related areas such as SSL Certificates, security monitoring, intrusion prevention, etc.
- Experience on webservers and working with cloud servicers such as AWS would be of benefit
This is a full time, permanent role on offer for a salary of between £30 – 35K pa (dependent on experience and skills) plus a range of attractive benefits and the chance to become part of a rapidly growing and exciting organisation.
