Marketing Manager

Marketing Manager (BBBH1333) Gloucester, England

We are seeking a Marketing Communications Manager with experience of working within a B2B environment and ideally an industrial or manufacturing background to join our Gloucester based client, a leading specialist within their field. The main purpose of the role will be to manage the company’s brand and corporate identity and provide a hands-on marketing function to all divisions within the business to deliver on the company objectives, in return for a salary of between £36 and 48K.

Key responsibilities, duties and tasks will include:
• Maintaining the group brand to recognise and protect the individual business divisions contained within it whilst encouraging a cohesive message and ensuring consistency with the company’s heritage and vision.
• Managing and making full use of the marketing team to implement and measure the existing marketing strategy in line with revenue and brand objectives.
• Managing the marketing department budget and ensure ROI on all activities.
• Developing brand communications across all channels taking responsibility for all client communications to ensure consistency and pro-active outreach to all key audiences.
• Overseeing all external facing communications materials including the production and distribution of an inspiring and varied range of promotional merchandise, advertising, websites, brochures, tender and social media.
• Arranging and marketing of events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions.
• Conducting market research and analysing and report findings, including monitoring competitor activity.
• Identifying potential strategic partners for brand promotion and product awareness and maintaining an effective working rapport with such partners.
• Managing the maintenance and updating of customer databases.

In addition to several years’ experience of work within a similar role, ideally from within a manufacturing or industrial background and B2B marketing, the successful candidate should be an excellent communicator across all levels with experience of managing a small team and the ability of working to a given budget and meeting set targets and deadlines.
