We are looking for a Web Developer for a permanent role based in Worcestershire, this role is paying between £28,000 to £30,000 per annum.
As a Web Developer your duties will include: Developing new and maintaining existing on-line services, to be used both by customers and staff. Candidates should have previous programming experience and an eye for detail; have excellent communication and problem solving skills and the ability to be a team player. If you think you’ve got what it takes to really shine then we’ll give you the freedom (within a framework) and an exciting challenge.
Key Duties:
• To research and develop the latest practices in coding standards and help implement them
• To ensure the smooth running of the company’s infrastructure
• To provide support to the Technical Support Team as and when required
• To provide development support to the other developers within the company as and when required.
• To test the efficiency of any programmes developed against a manual process along with customer feedback once the products are retailed.
• To provide support to any other areas of the business as and when required.
What kind of Person are we looking for?
• Proven programming experience (or a strong understanding) of HTML/CSS/LESS/SASS/
• Knowledge of Javascript and related frameworks (jQuery/Knockout/Angular)
• Ability to manage a range of different tasks with proven time management skills and flexibility with regard to working hours
• A team player with the ability to work on your own initiative
• Excellent communications skills, both verbally and written
• An interest in technology and the internet
• Ability work well under pressure and prioritise workload
