The Client
Our client is a leading Social Housing Contractor with offices-based Nationwide. They work with some of the largest City Councils and Housing Associations/Groups across the Country. Due to managing an increased number of properties, they are looking to recruit a Tenant Liaison Officer based from their offices in Birmingham.

The Role
You will be responsible for liaising with Tenants, Supervisors/Site Managers and the Client regarding access and programme of works for replacement kitchen, bathrooms and external works such as windows, doors & roofing in domestic properties across the Birmingham region.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaising closely with Tenants & Scheme Manager regarding access and programme of works
  • Assisting and liaising with Site Managers, Supervisors and the Client
  • Contacting neighbourhood housing associations and establishing working relations
  • Visiting tenants and advising them on completion dates, colour schemes etc.
  • Attending/chairing tenant forum meetings/open days advising tenants of works being completed
  • Conducting surveys
  • Pre-entry visits to introduce the company & to advise tenants on works being completed
  • General admin - printing letters, updating files and trackers, arranging appointments etc.

Qualifications & Experience

  • MUST HAVE previous experience of working as a TLO on social housing projects.
  • CSCS card desirable but not essential
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Own Transport
