Job Description:
Our client in Scottsdale is looking for an Events Strategy Manager to join their team full time.
This will be onsite, Monday - Friday.
What you will be doing:
- Build and execute an exceptional experience at conference and trade show events with a focus on separating them from the competition
- Through agency and internal team leads, own end-to-end execution of various tradeshows and events across the US and international markets�
- The primary goals and focus of this position will be building strategy and market awareness, interest inertia and ultimately lead generation campaigns
- You will manage event strategy and operations including exhibit purchase and leasing, logistics, budget management, vendor management, venue sourcing, marketing and registration for your events
- Partner with cross functional teams to develop content, messaging and surround elements (digital, social) for the key events�
- Establish strategies to drive event attendance and implement follow up plans to nurture opportunities for all attendees. Ensure all event activity integrated into campaigns�
What you need to know:
- 5+ years of corporate event planning at an agency or technology company
- Ability to apply successful lead generation campaigns tied specifically to events for pre-event and post-event communications�
- Project management skills, client / customer service experience and experience producing events
- Strong attention to detail and willing to go above and beyond to create the highest quality experience for event attendees and businesses
- Basic knowledge of Marketing automation & optimization tools �
- This role will require 30-40% travel
