Sales Manager - Dubai / Pakistan / India (96818) Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Responsibilities:

  • Day to day management of the commercial activities within the assigned territory
  • Maintain updated sales plans, sales pipeline database and action plans in support of the management process.
  • Develop new business opportunities and maintain existing customer relationships in the Assigned territory. Establish collaborative and productive working relationships with potential partners within the oil & gas and process engineering industries.
  • Identify opportunities for entry into new market areas, and develop a long term business strategy within the marketplace.
  • Conduct presentations, both technical and commercial, with client or client engineering contractors / designers.
  • Work across the Organization's Energy Engineering Division to coordinate market knowledge and marketing activities.
  • Contribute towards annual budget preparations and 3 year business plan, to meet Division growth targets.
  • Actively participate and contribute in the sales team meetings with over-riding responsibility for delivery of the revenue and margin for the gas compression annual budget.
  • Identify training needs for the gas compression sales team so that they are sufficiently trained for duties undertaken and training plans are developed and implemented.
  • Appoint and manage new country Agents / Representatives and establish and fair agency pricing to ensure aggressive sales growth and optimizing sale profits

Requirement:

  • 5yrs + of relevant working experience in Middle East ; with experience of  Power Gen / Compression / aftermarket  / parts marketplace for gas compression or reciprocating equipment.
  • Successful sales track record, with sales management experience gained in a similar working environment in the Middle East / India/ Pakistan
  • Technical background with engineering qualification, ideally degree level.
  • Established and well developed Oil & Gas client base in the Middle East
  • Self motivation, ability to work under pressure within a team environment, good communication skills, professional attitude, willing to travel extensively.
