This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Hospice Fundraiser (Events) to join our highly respected client in Cheltenham.
As Senior Hospice Fundraiser, you will report to the Head of Hospice Fundraising where you will be responsible for the development and implementation of a fundraising plan to support and deliver income in line with the charities local plans and aspirations. In order to increase engagement, loyalty and support of the charity, you will represent the charities fundraising across the local area.
You will be working alongside the fundraising team, retail colleagues and volunteers in the locality as well as external contacts including donors, supporters, community groups and associations, service users and their families.
What will make you right for the role is extensive experience and expertise in raising income through event fundraising. This will include a track record of achieving fundraising growth and delivery income. You will have experience of the recruitment, management and motivation of staff and volunteers alike. An excellent networker, you will be brilliant at developing, nurturing and maintaining relationships with people from a wide variety of backgrounds, within the local community.
The successful candidate will have a strong performance ethic, driven and motivated towards the achievement of targets. You will have a degree or equivalent fundraising experience, will have evidence of continuing progressive development and ideally, would have a professional Fundraising qualification.
Salary £27k
