Community Fundraiser (BBBH1049) Cheltenham, England
This is an exciting opportunity for a Hospice Fundraiser (Community Fundraising) to join our highly respected client in Cheltenham.
As Community Fundraiser, you will report to the Senior Hospice Fundraiser where you will be responsible for ensuring that the fundraising plan is implemented and managed to support and deliver community fundraising income in line with the charities local plans and aspirations. In order to increase engagement, loyalty and support of the charity, you will represent the charities fundraising across the local area.
You will be working alongside the fundraising team, to support and facilitate the developments of strong relationships with volunteers, supporters, community groups and associations, service users and their families.
What will make you right for the role is proven experience of building relationships with schools, local communities and groups and associations in order to generate income and experience of forming, nurturing and maintaining relationships with local communities including individuals, groups and associations to deliver growth in income. You will have experience of the recruitment and management of volunteers and will have a track record of delivering to an agreed target.
The successful candidate will have a strong performance ethic, driven and motivated towards the achievement of targets. You will have GCSE grades A-C including Maths and English, and will have secretarial training and qualifications.
