The role
As a .Net Developer (ASP.Net, C#, SQL Server), you will be working on a number of core products, you will need to be a strong collaborator and able to succeed in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be highly organised with a proven ability to work independently.
* Creating, maintaining and improving our marketing websites.
* Optimising our websites for user experience, SEO and the latest web standards.
* Maintaining and improving our internally developed content management systems.
* Upgrading our code base. Large sections of this code are written in ASP.NET Web Forms, - alongside other upgrades - we are looking to update this to ASP.NET MVC, bringing it in line with our product code base.
* Working collaboratively with our product development teams to ensure all code is of the highest quality.
* Learning! You will be keeping up with best practices and emerging technologies to help us stay at the forefront of our industry.
You will play an integral part in the development (ASP.Net, C#, SQL Server) of core new features and also maintaining the current code for these products. You will be challenged to think on your feet, be proactive and develop and be an outside of the box thinker. You will be comfortable with a challenge and also a real life problem solver- you will work in a small but close knit team that are friends as well as colleagues. They look out for each other!
Essential Skills:
* Net

Desirable Skills:
* JavaScript
* HTML / CSS
* SOAP and REST APIs
* SEO (good understanding of best practice)
* Use of SEO tools such as GSC to SEMRush
* CMS platforms such as FreshDesk
* Marketing platforms such as HubSpot
