Senior Cloud Solutions Architect

Polar Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a market leading IT Services & Consultancy client for a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to join a thriving Consultancy Practice, focussed on designing and delivering Private & Public Cloud solutions for prestigious enterprise clients.

This position would suit a subject matter expert within Cloud solutions, who is passionate about providing thought leadership and large scale, cutting edge solutions in the Cloud space.

Responsibilities

The Senior Cloud Solutions Architect will be responsible for;

• Provide Cloud architecture advisory services; engage directly with customers to clarify/shape needs; define requirements, identify and develop solutions.
• Act as a trusted advisor for customers, guiding them in a consultative manner; involving engaging with the customer using Hybrid Cloud Adoption Frameworks and assisting with business cases and architecture.
• Maintain excellent understanding of portfolio of solutions; monitor global IT developments, trends and competitors, to ensure solutions exploit current and future technologies.
• As a thought leader contribute to the practice strategy by suggesting new service capabilities and contribute to marketing activities such as writing white papers/media articles etc.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in a similar Senior Cloud Solutions Architect role; owning and managing the scoping and definition of conceptual designs by understanding and translating business requirements into technical solutions
• As a Cloud SME, extensive experience delivering end to end Private & Public Cloud solutions using AWS, MS Azure and other platforms, as well as the use of container and orchestration tools.
• Professional and dynamic approach, a passion for delivering secure IT services and solutions, and proven ability to analyse customer requirements and select appropriate technologies to design innovative technical solutions.
• Extensive experience leading presentations to senior management level, both internally and with clients, including for support of presales and bid processes.
