Polar Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading IT Services client for a Solution Architect - Digital Workplace to join a dynamic and highly successful Consultancy Practice.
The Solution Architect - Digital Workplace will be focused on driving market leading solutions around Digital Workplace transformation, providing internal and external strategy and thought leadership, and supporting account teams with pre-sales campaigns and customer opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Lead customer opportunities, develop a good understanding of their business and technical requirements, articulate strategies, roadmaps and technology solutions aligned to these needs
- Develop close working relationships with key internal and client stakeholders, becoming a trusted advisor to customers
- Lead and support pre-sales and assurance of proposed solutions & services, including responses to large scale, complex customer opportunities (including ITT’s, RFP’s and RFI’s)
- Provide technical governance and assurance
- Work with Services, Marketing, and Solutions teams to produce though leadership and product information for go to market propositions, including enablement and education for internal sales teams and consultants
- Engage within a broad virtual team to develop future offerings
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of key vendor offerings and competitors in the market.
Skills & Experience
The Solution Architect - Digital Workplace will have skills and experience including;
- Proven experience in a similar senior Solution Architect position within the IT Services space.
- A thorough understanding of IT infrastructure and digital workplace architecture, in support of complex enterprise customer environments and digital transformation programmes
- Sound technical knowledge of Windows 10 and Office 365 including all aspects of business value, use case and migration.
- Broad technical knowledge within digital workplace solutions including client and application management, enterprise mobility, hybrid services, digital identity and end-user collaboration
- Proven experience of stakeholder management at CxO level
- Proactive approach in building relationships with customers, vendors and partners
- Strong commercial skills - experience of business case development, creating solutions/services cost models, identifying risks, governance policies and processes etc.
- Proven understanding of business, IT architecture/project management frameworks and methodologies (recognised accreditations desirable)
- Very strong written and verbal communication skills, including high quality documentation skills and presentation experience with mid to large-sized audiences
- Full clean driving licence and willing to travel widely for assignments.
