Motor Vehicle Safety Supervisor

Location:  Kazakhstan
Salary:  GBP6287 - GBP6287 per annum


The Role:
• Higher technical education, Degree or Diploma in an appropriate technical discipline including transportation, mechanical engineering, AND
• 7 + years hands on supervisory experience in one or more of the following: Personnel and Goods Transportation Operations, Maintenance of Vehicles/Equipment, QA/QC, HSE.
• Advanced Driver Trainer or Qualified Driving Instructor
• Proven track experience in Commercial and Business Development
• Computer literate a competent in MS products such as; Excel, Word, Access.
• Excellent oral and written knowledge in English. Kazakh and/or Russian would be an advantage.
• Proven experience in the management or supervisory role of a large scale fleet management operation (1,000+) in remote regions
• Demonstrated responsibility, maturity, and leadership ability.
• Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem solving ability.
• Possess the necessary sense of urgency required to work in a deadline driven environment.
• Strong organizational and motivational skills recognizing the need for attention to detail.
• Must be Customer-service focused.
• MUST show Leadership for and be committed to a SAFETY culture.
• Good organization skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions at a high professional standard.
• Ability to communicate at a senior level with sophisticated Client representatives.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels of the organisation.
• Demonstrate the ability of specific experience in large Commercial Taxi operations.
• Knowledge and understanding of RoK Safety, MSDS, Health & Environmental legislation.
• Ability to motivate people, embrace and implement management of change throughout Transportation.
• Ability to strategically develop opportunities in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to implement continuous improvement programs which are measurable and provide both tangible and intangible benefits to the Transportation Department.
• Ability to understand and be familiar with general transportation work flow processes, procedures and systems
